We are pleased to share that Fairmount Memorial Park will reopen to the public Thursday morning, August 20th.

 

As families return to the park, please be aware that cleanup and restoration work is still underway. Please stay out of all restricted areas marked with orange fencing and caution tape and be mindful of our team members, contractors, and equipment working throughout the cemetery.

 

Sunset Chapel will remain closed to the public. The mausoleum wing can be accessed from the northwest corner. Please follow all posted signage and remain outside any restricted areas.

 

The map below shows the areas of the park impacted by the recent fire. If you have questions or concerns about your cemetery property, please contact our office at 509-326-3800 or email information@fairmountmemorial.com. Our team will assist you and get a work order started for any concerns that need to be addressed.

 

We also want families to know that some sections of the park are still without power, including power to the pumps for our irrigation system. While we work to restore power and irrigation, our crews are using available resources to keep water on the park as much as possible.

 

There is still a great deal of work ahead, and we appreciate your patience with our staff and crews as we continue cleaning up and restoring our cemetery.
