COLUMBARIA: OUTDOOR CREMATION NICHE WALLS
A columbarium is a structure built on cemetery grounds which contains multiple compartments for the safekeeping and permanent placement of urns.
On the face of each compartment, the name and date of the person within is inscribed. The compartments (referred to as niches) are available in different capacities; from a single urn to as many as four urns, depending on the size of the niche and the guidelines put in place by the cemetery.

While the term 'columbarium' may sound archaic, the advantages are completely modern: Not only is long-term memorialization preserved, but the assurance that the urn is protected and secure can eliminate any anxiety regarding appropriate places to store or display an urn within a home.

Columbaria can be found at all seven FMA cemeteries and parks. The distinctive design, form, and placement of every columbaria are a reflection of the unique lives appropriately honored behind their granite facades. By exploring the below images, we hope you will experience the diversity and beauty that each one may provide.
