This year, we have two types of tours available.
Walking Cemetery Tours are run by Spokane Historian Chet Caskey and provide deep historical insights and stories covering notable regional figures, events and (occasionally) the supernatural! Check out the Walking Cemetery Tours offered by Chet and TwoDogTours below!
Fairmount Memorial Association is pleased to announce the annual return of our Hay Wagon, Wine and Ghost Story Tours! And this year Fairmount Memorial Association will be providing even more opportunities for people to participate by adding two additional tours! Don't miss the Hay Wagon, Wine & Ghost Story tours! 2025 CEMETERY TOURS by TwoDogTours*
Fairmount Memorial Association is excited to share that renowned local historian (and Ghostologist) Chet Caskey will be leading guided walking tours of our three historic cemeteries in 2025.
Chet Caskey teaches classes of the History of the City of Spokane at Spokane Community College, has been a popular city tour guide for many years, and is author of “Meet Me Under the Clock”: A History of the City of Spokane and "A Guide to Spokane’s Historic Cemeteries".
Walking Tour of Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery - Sunday June 1
Sunday June 1 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Spokane Historian Chet Caskey will lead a two-hour Walking Tour of Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane. Learn about the mausoleums and charming Rock Chapel, along with the histories of some of Spokane’s leading ancestors resting beneath the grass as you stroll the grounds of the cemetery, especially beautiful this time of year.

Walking Tour of Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery - Sunday June 8
Sunday June 8 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Spokane Historian Chet Caskey will lead a two-hour Walking Tour of Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 508 North Government Way. Learn about the charming history of the cemetery and its Art Deco mausoleum, along with stories of some of Spokane’s leading ancestors as you stroll the grounds of the cemetery, especially beautiful this time of year.
